AQUARIUS 1
Aquarius, the Calves and the ‘Belly’ of the Legs
Dear Disciple:
We have arrived at the constellation of Aquarius in our Zodiacal Course, which has its corporeal point in the Calves.
At this point let us remember Don Abraham Gonzalez (the Minister of the Interior of Mexico during the times of Madero) who, in order to determine the cowardice of a political party, said that the back part of their knees were trembling…
This phrase, which made us laugh a lot at that time, pushed us to observe some men in a state of nervousness, in order to substantiate the phenomenon.
We also noticed that in some men who were sentenced to death in court, and although we never witnessed the act of execution (since we left just before), after having been greatly consoled, we found that both the face and the calves were trembling.
Fluidic emanations which are very charged by eroticism meet in this part of the body, and every man knows that there is nothing in the body of a woman which awakens more masculine attention than the calves.
This produces the form of the leg and its roundness, therefore, a misformed and thin calf defuses the desires of any man, although the face of women may abound in beauty and loveliness.
We call attention to this, from our point of view, in order to show the importance of our practices in these extremities.
It is curious that, in Catalonia, the Calves are named “Belly of the Bed” and in Portuguese “Belly of the Legs”. It might seem like a joke, but these names have their origins in the Ancient Mysteries, in which they taught that all the animation of the body resides in the Belly, rather like a Cauldron bringing about all necessary Metabolism.
Thus, in the leg there is also a ‘Belly’ or place where all the ‘metabolism’ of the leg is carried out in a magnetic sense, and as we have seen the importance of the thighs (in the Lesson of Sagittarius), it is easy to comprehend that the calves represent something important in the legs, in general.
Aquarius, in addition to the Calves, exerts its action on the expulsion of carbon dioxide from the organism and therefore upon the Blood and its pathological states. It also exerts itself on the Nervous System (catalepsy, neurasthenia, hysteria), cardiac diseases and, especially, on diseases of sight.If we first consider the conditions of Aquarius as performing the function of a ‘belly’ in the calves and then as an operator on the other parts of the body, then we will see the great reason why the Ancient Initiates had to attribute certain diseases to this Sign. For example, deaths due to sudden cardiac accidents always happen when Saturn has a bad aspect with the Heart in the constellation of Aquarius.
Some treatises of Magic say that children born under the influence of Aquarius are difficult to educate and that nothing is ever achieved with harshness and punishment, but it is rather with gentleness and pampering, and that instead of us caressing the head it is better for us to caress the calves of the Aquarian children.

Aquarius and its Esoteric Associations
In dealing in the final part of the Zodiacal Course with the influence of Pisces upon the feet (which is undoubtedly the Greatest Key) we will see that, just as the eyes are the gateway to Glands such as the Epiphysis or Pineal gland and to the Hypophysis or Pituitary gland, the departure of the powerful forces which are in the legs have to be guided through the Calves under the influence of Saturn-Aquarius.
Under the influence of Saturn-Aquarius, great Theosophists, fighters for Religious Principles, Idealists, Revolutionaries and Inventors are born. Frederick the Great, Bacon, Edison, Swedenborg, Dickenson, Lessing, Haeckel, Darwin, Volta and others, had their Sun in Aquarius.
Occultists have Aquarius in ascent or the Sun in said constellation, therefore, occult intuition is born from it.
Aquarians are necessarily of an affectionate character and all those inventors of Cubism, Ultra-ism, Dada-ism and other modern expressions of art, are something like a foreshadowing of occult intuition in each individual so that later on, as a consequence, the inclination towards the ultra-ist theories of Occultism can then flourish in them.
All this has been foreseen Astrologically and it is extremely curious that the same fashion which has hidden the calves of women for centuries and centuries, is now showing them off as we approach, little by little, the doors of the Sign of Aquarius (whose term is beginning now).
Likewise, the materialists will not accept these explanations, but those of us who occupy ourselves with occultism and with certain astrological studies, united with the science left in ancient manuscripts by truly wise initiates, we know that nothing is coincidental and that everything firmly has its foundation.
Aviation is also under the Astrological influence of Aquarius, and this has already been mentioned accurately by the spiritual father of the Aviators, Leonardo da Vinci. Of course, then, it was just a prediction, without mentioning anything for the age of Aquarius to come.
The eyes of those born in Aquarius are very expressive, when the Karma and the Heritage (which in summary are the same thing) has not extinguished their shiny brightness. They are something like two ecstatic and radiant bright stars, and it would be sufficient to look upon the face of an Aquarian in order to find the constellation under which they were born.They are also noted for a fine and delicate hand that invites caressing, and they have a special and outstanding instinct for all things, but there is also a conspicuously labeled selfishness coveting everything for themselves.
They know how to perfectly scrutinize the path forward in order to succeed in any enterprise, getting the best possible out of it, yet it is not important to them if they harm others in order to achieve their defined purposes.

Saturn, Aquarius and its Exercise
We have described Saturn as conservative. Now it is in Aquarius where Saturn looks to the Future.
Since we are coming into the Age of Aquarius, it is for this reason that we have seen things move so quickly, and the future has to be that of occult ideas, while in the field of parapsychology we will observe true marvels.
We are not, of course, far from the day when the separation of the astral body and even other phenomena of major importance will be a fact for Science in general, and what is now only occult knowledge, will be disclosed to the public.
Nonetheless, it will take occult practices such as a necessary and indispensable preparation, so that the physical body gets used to and will permit the indicated phenomenon.
The practice which is related to the Feet and the Constellation of Pisces, has to be prepared and set up with what we will describe, therefore, the current that comes from the Sanctuary of the Feet starts its trajectory by passing through the Calves, and we must mentally prepare them, but concentrating much stronger than before, to open the passageway.
Nevertheless, it is not, then, a complicated practice or a exercise. It is enough, in order to achieve this, that every night (before going to bed) one rubs the Calves from the bottom up, and while this is being done, one consciously concentrates, with true mental strength, on the following phrases:
“Force pass through, Force pass through, permeate my whole organism.
Current from below, ascend to find your sister, she who comes from heaven, from Uranus.
I, Saturn, am your receiver in the Microcosmos in order to redeem Humanity and in order to redeem myself personally who tends to approach God, by seeking for my own perfection.
So be it.”
You might consider this practice as the least important and just too simple, but it is only done in order to prepare you for the next exercise, which holds the Greatest Key, and just doing this well and discovering its Intimate secrets, will open the doors to all Initiations.
After this we will enter into the field of magic. Of course we invite the brethren to join in it.

Huiracocha’s Practices for Aquarius
Occult practices are a necessary and indispensable preparation in order to permit the separation of the astral body from the physical body.
The practice for Aquarius is done so that when the current which starts its trajectory by passing through the Feet (related with Pisces) arrives and attempts to ascend through the Calves: here, we open the passageway through a strong concentration.
To achieve this: it is enough that every night (before going to bed) one rubs the Calves from the bottom up, while consciously concentrating on the following phrases:
“Force pass through, Force pass through,
permeate my whole organism.Current from below: ascend to find your sister,
she who comes from heaven, from Uranus.I, Saturn, am your receiver in the Microcosmos
in order to redeem Humanity
and in order to redeem myself personally,
seeking to approach God
by striving for my own perfection.So be it.”
This practice is done to prepare us for the next exercise (in Pisces), which holds the Greatest Key, and just doing this well and discovering its Intimate secrets, will open the doors to all Initiations…
