Fischbach does not give an explanation for this Rune, but puts the Jer, Jar, Jahr <\/em> Rune<\/a> in its place (which we will study as the 19th Rune).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The \u201cAr <\/em>\u201d, the \u201cUrfyr <\/em>\u201d (Ur-<\/em>Fire, God), the \u201cSun\u201d, the \u201cLight\u201d, destroys both the spiritual as well as the physical Darkness, Doubt, and Uncertainty. <\/p>\n The Aryans (the Sons-of-the-Sun [Sonnens\u00f6hne <\/em>]) founded their Rita <\/em> (the Ur-<\/em>Law) in the Character of the Ar <\/em>, whose Hieroglyph is the \u201cAar <\/em>\u201d (Eagle). In the shadow image of this Rune we could see the side of the Ar-<\/em>Ganger, Ar-<\/em>Walker striding to the right, towards the Rechts <\/em> (Right\/Law) of the Sun, who follows the Solar circle (arc <\/em> = arch). He symbolically wanders, walks, strides his Destiny, the skillful Sal<\/em> (the Skillful salvation of Man), who comes from the Father-House, and returns to God, returning again to the Father-House. <\/p>\n Thus every Man who returns again to his origin, coming from the Aar <\/em> (from the Sun), and going to the Earth, is an Ar<\/em>-man (a Sun-and-Earth-Man), a Light-Bearer, like the Sun itself, which goes from Rising, to Radiating, to Setting, in perpetual Cycles. <\/p>\n “Circling the globe I am following the rising Sun. Thus, my path to the Light is eternal like the Sun!” From the Sun and the Ar<\/em>-men who follow its orbit (i.e., the Armanen<\/em>, the Hermanen<\/em>, the Irmine<\/em>), the human being receives the law of the times and with this is the first and only law there is. The world is a place of eternal change and wandering of a will that works according to a plan and timing. <\/p>\n The Ar<\/em>-Rune is the Aar<\/em>, the eagle, that flies in circles, as well as the Sun above the stones of the Earth that are arranged in circles (like Stonehenge). And the priest who wanders in the circle following the Ar<\/em> (yearly orbit of the Sun) is the <\/em>Armane<\/em>, the mirror image of the orbiting universe. <\/p>\n The cosmic man (who has the name of Adam Kadmon) had also received the name of Jahr-man<\/em> from our ancestors, the Ir-mann<\/em>, the Hir-mann<\/em>, the Ar-man<\/em>. Here also belongs the Hir-mon, Hiram,<\/em> the builder of the world in the Masonic tradition. But from the Har-man<\/em>, the \u201chigh man\u201d evolves with the \u201cAr<\/em>-many\u201d, the \u2018harmony\u2019 of the world, which sounds in the music of the spheres\u2026 The Ar<\/em>-man is, thus, also the one who plays the Ar-fa<\/em>, the Harfe<\/em> or Harp, the harp of the world.<\/p>\n If Aar<\/em> is the Sun and light, then the turning away from the Sun means darkness and shadow.
