Man, the Universe and the Three Primary Forces<\/h3>\n

\u201cThe fundamental law that creates all phenomena (in all the diversity or unity of all universes) is the ‘Law of Three’ or the law of the three principles or the three forces. This fundamental law consists of the fact that every phenomenon, on whatever scale and in whatever world it may take place, from molecular to cosmic phenomena, is the result of the combination or the meeting of three different and opposing forces. <\/p>\n

Modern thinking recognizes the existence of two forces and the necessity of these two forces for the production of a phenomenon:
\n      \u2022 force and resistance,
\n      \u2022 positive and negative magnetism,
\n      \u2022 positive and negative electricity,
\n      \u2022 male and female cells,
\n      \u2022 and so on. <\/p>\n

But it does not observe even these two forces always and everywhere. No question has ever been raised as to the third, or if it has been raised it has scarcely been heard.<\/p>\n

According to real, exact knowledge, one force or two forces, can never produce a phenomenon. The presence of a third force is necessary, because it is only with the help of a third force that the first two can produce what may be called a phenomenon, no matter in what sphere. The teaching of the three forces is at the root of all ancient systems. <\/p>\n

The first force may be called active or positive; the second, passive or negative; the third, neutralizing. But these are merely names, because in reality all three forces are equally active and appear as active, passive, and neutralizing, only at their meeting points<\/u>, that is to say, only in relation to one another at a given moment. <\/p>\n

The first two forces are more or less comprehensible to us, and the third may sometimes be discovered either at the point of application of the forces, or in the ‘medium’, or in the ‘result’. But, in general, the third force is not easily accessible to direct observation and understanding. The reason for this is to be found in the functional limitations of the human being’s ordinary psychological activity and in the fundamental categories of our perception of the phenomenal world, that is, in our sensation of space and time resulting from these limitations. <\/p>\n

People cannot perceive and observe the third force directly any more than they can spatially perceive the ‘fourth dimension’. But by studying oneself, the manifestations of one’s thought, consciousness, activity, habits, desires, and so on, the human being can learn to observe and to see in themselves the action of the three forces.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Three Primary Forces and the Work upon Oneself<\/h3>\n

\u201cLet us suppose, for instance, that a person wants to work on themselves in order to change certain characteristics, to attain a higher level of being. <\/p>\n

[1] Their desire, their initiative, is the active force. <\/p>\n

[2] The inertia of all their habitual psychological life which shows opposition to their initiative will be the passive or the negative force.<\/p>\n

The two forces will either counterbalance one another, or one will completely conquer the other, but, then, as a result of this battle, the winning force will become too weak for any further action. Thus the two forces will, as it were, revolve around each other: one absorbing the other and producing no result whatever. This may continue for a lifetime.<\/u> <\/p>\n

A person may feel desire and initiative, but all this initiative may be absorbed in overcoming the habitual inertia of life, leaving nothing for the purpose towards which the initiative ought to be directed. And so it may go on until the third force makes its appearance, in the form, for instance, of new knowledge <\/em>, showing at once the advantage or the necessity of work on oneself and, in this way, supporting and strengthening the initiative. <\/p>\n

[3] Then the initiative, with the support of this third force (in this case the new knowledge), may conquer inertia and the person becomes active in the desired direction.<\/p>\n

Examples of the action of the three forces, and the moments of entry of the third force, may be discovered in all manifestations of our psychic life, in all phenomena of the life of human communities and of humanity as a whole, and in all the phenomena of nature around us. But at the beginning it is enough to understand the general principle: every phenomenon, of whatever magnitude it may be, is inevitably the manifestation of three forces<\/strong>; one or two forces cannot produce a phenomenon, and if we observe a stoppage in anything, or an endless hesitation at the same place, we can say that, at the given place, the third force is lacking. <\/p>\n

In trying to understand this it must be remembered (at the same time) that people cannot observe phenomena as manifestations of three forces because we cannot observe the objective world in our subjective states of consciousness<\/u>. And in the subjectively observed phenomenal world we see in phenomena only the manifestation of one or two forces. If we could see the manifestation of three forces in every action, we would then see the world as it is (and therefore see things in themselves). <\/p>\n

But remember that a phenomenon which appears to be simple may actually be very complicated, that is, it may be a very complex combination of trinities<\/strong>. But we know that we cannot observe the world as it is, and this should help us to understand why we cannot see the third force. The third force is a property of the real world. The subjective or phenomenal world of our observation is only relatively real, because it is not complete.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We do not perceive the world as it is, we only receive impressions of it through our 5 senses. If we awaken our Consciousness, then we can experience the world objectively and perceive the action of the 3rd force.<\/p>\n

The Sacred Triamazikamno<\/h3>\n

\u201cThe Three Primary Forces constitute the SACRED TRIAMAZIKAMNO. This is the HOLY AFFIRMING [1], the HOLY DENYING [2], [and] the HOLY RECONCILING [3]; the HOLY GOD [1], the HOLY FIRM [2], the HOLY IMMORTAL [3]. In electricity, these are the three poles: POSITIVE-NEGATIVE-NEUTRAL. <\/p>\n

Without the presence of these three poles, all of creation is impossible. In GNOSTIC ESTOERIC Science, the THREE independent FORCES have the following associations:
\n
\n      SURP-OTHEOS [1];
\n      SURP-SKIROS [2];
\n      SURP-ATHANOTOS [3].<\/p>\n

      THE IMPULSING, AFFIRMING, POSITIVE FORCE [1].
\n      THE NEGATIVE FORCE, FORCE OF NEGATION, FORCE OF RESISTANCE [2].
\n      THE RECONCILING FORCE, LIBERATING FORCE, NEUTRALIZING FORCE [3].<\/p>\n

These three forces are like three willpowers in the RAY OF CREATION, three consciousnesses, three units or unities. Each of these three forces contains IN ITSELF all the possibilities of the three. But, in their point of conjunction, each of them manifest only their principle: the positive [1], negative [2] or neutral [3]. <\/p>\n

It is very interesting to see the three forces in action: they separate, move away from each other and then COME TOGETHER AGAIN in order to form new trinities which originate new worlds, new creations.<\/p>\n

In the ABSOLUTE, the three forces are the SINGLE LOGOS, the ARMY OF THE VOICE within the GREAT UNITY of life free in its movement.<\/p>\n

THE CREATIVE PROCESS OF THE SACRED COMMON COSMIC TRIAMAZIKAMNO was initiated with the sexual marriage of the word<\/u> because in the beginning was the verb, and the verb was with GOD and the verb was God. Because of it all things were made and without it nothing that is made would have been made.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Law of Three and Creation<\/h3>\n

\u201cIt is necessary \u2026 for us to know the LAW OF THREE in depth. IT IS URGENT to know what position we occupy in this MARVELOUS RAY OF CREATION.<\/p>\n

THE SON came into the World to save us and it is necessary to know who the FATHER, who the SON and who the HOLY SPIRIT are. All the sacred TRIMURTIS of all the Religions correspond to the three primary forces of the Universe. <\/p>\n

The FATHER, the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT constitute a trinity within the UNITY OF LIFE. ISIS – OSIRIS – HORUS, BRAHMA – VISHNU – SHIVA, etc., are the SACRED TRIMURTIS which always represent the same three primary forces. <\/p>\n

All the cosmic phenomenon, all creation, have their foundation in the three primary forces. Contemporary scientists recognize force & resistance (the positive force & the negative force, the positive & negative cells, that is to say, the masculine & feminine cells, etc.), but are ignorant that without a third neutral force all phenomenon, all creation is impossible.<\/p>\n

It is certain that one or two forces can not produce any phenomenon, but the scientists believe that the positive and negative forces on their own can produce all phenomenon.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Only Three Forces Can Produce Phenomenon<\/h3>\n

\u201cOne or two forces can never produce any phenomenon and, thus, whenever we observe a halt in the development of anything, we can state with absolute certainty that there the third force is missing. The three primary forces separate and unite again; they divide themselves and multiply themselves cosmically.<\/p>\n

WITHIN THE UNMANIFESTED ABSOLUTE, the THREE PRIMARY FORCES constitute an INDIVISIBLE AND SELF-CONSCIOUS UNITY in an INTEGRAL form. <\/p>\n

During COSMIC MANIFESTATION, the three primary forces separate and unite; Phenomena, Worlds, Universes, etc., etc., etc., are created in those points where the three concur or come together.<\/p>\n

These three forces seem like three wills, three consciousnesses, three unities in the RAY OF CREATION. Each of these three forces contains in themselves all the possibilities of the three. However, in their point of conjunction, each one of them only manifests one principle: the positive, negative, or neutral.<\/p>\n

It is very interesting to see the three forces in action; they separate, they move away, and soon they MEET each other AGAIN in order to form new, different, trinities that originate new worlds, new cosmic creations. <\/p>\n

Within the ABSOLUTE, the three forces are the SINGLE LOGOS, the VARIETY within the TOTAL UNITY; there, the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT constitute an OMNI-CONSICOUS AND OMNI-MERCIFUL whole.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Verb, the Rituals of Fire and the Law of Three<\/h3>\n

\u201cReally, without sound, without the VERB, without the word, the Solar System (in which we live, move, and have our being) could not exist. At the dawn of Life, the COSMOCREATORS worked in their temples with the SEXUAL MAGIC OF THE VERB. As we have explained: The two fundamental forces cannot create by themselves, a third force is necessary in accordance with the SEXUAL MAGIC of the VERB.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The work of making the PRAKRITI (the CHAOS, the COSMIC MOTHER, the GREAT BELLY or WOMB), bear fruit is always the labor of the very sacred TEOMERSMALOGOS, (the THIRD FORCE).<\/p>\n

The three groups organized themselves within each temple in the following manner: <\/p>\n

1. First, a PRIEST.
\n2. Second, a PRIESTESS.
\n3. Third, a neutral group of ELOHIM.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If we take into consideration that the ELOHIM are androgynous then it is clear that they had to polarize themselves through willpower into a MASCULINE, FEMININE, and NEUTRAL form, in accordance with the SACRED COMMON COSMIC TRIAMAZIKAMNO.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The SEXUAL MAGIC OF THE VERB created this UNIVERSE in which we live, move, and have our being. In the beginning, our SOLAR SYSTEM was subtle; later it became denser and denser until eventually taking its present physical consistency. Words are lovely but sterile from someone who does not act as they say they will, like a beautiful flower, full of color, but lacking in fragrance. But similar to a beautiful flower, full of color and fragrance, are the words that are lovely and fertile from one who acts according to how one speaks.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Verb and Doing<\/h3>\n

\u201cJesus, says the Gospel, was powerful in works and in words; works before words: it is thus that he established himself and proved his right to speak. Jesus began to do and to speak and often, in the primitive language of the holy Scripture, an action is called a verb. In all languages, we call that which expresses both being and action VERB, and there is no verb which could not be replaced with the verb to do…<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLife proves itself through movement. Through willful and effective movement, in a word, through action, life develops and dresses itself in new forms. So, the development of life in itself, and the birth of new forms, we call creation.<\/p>\n

The intelligent power that operates in a transcendental and absolute way within the universal movement, we call the VERB. It is the initiative of God, which can never remain without effect, nor can it stop itself without having reached its goal<\/u>.<\/p>\n

For God, speaking is doing; and such should always be the scope of speech, even among human beings: true speech is the seed of actions.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Logos, the Tetragrammaton and Daath<\/h3>\n

In the Hebrew tradition, the secret name of God (which must not be spoken) is spelled: Yod-Heh-Vau-Heh [ \u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d4<\/span> ] and was called the Tetragrammaton <\/em> (from Greek \u03c4\u03b5\u03c4\u03c1\u03b1\u03b3\u03c1\u03ac\u03bc\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03bf\u03bd, meaning “four letters” or “four lettered word”).<\/p>\n

This special word has been transliterated as “Jehovah”, but when a Jewish practitioner comes across this word in their holy scriptures they pronounce another name, such as “Adonai” (meaning \u2018Lord\u2019 or \u2018Master\u2019) in order to not profane the sacred name. The reason it must not be pronounced, according to tradition, is because of the power that it contains within it. This is related to one of the laws given in Leviticus:<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd you shall not swear by my name falsely,
\nnor shall you profane the name of your God [Elohim \u05d0\u05dc\u05d4\u05d9\u05dd<\/span>]:
\nI am the LORD [\u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d4<\/span>].\u201d (Lev 19:12)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to Jewish Tradition, ever since the destruction of the Second Temple of Jerusalem (in 70 CE), the Tetragrammaton is no longer pronounced. But there is an exception made in the temple liturgy, where the name of God is only pronounced once a year, by the high priest, on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur<\/a> – the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people). <\/p>\n

In Ch. 10 of Tarot & Kabbalah<\/em><\/a>, Samael Aun Weor says:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Kabalah says that we see things in accordance with the extent to which we begin to obey the \u201c10\u201d [which corresponds to Hebrew letter Yod \u05d9<\/span><\/strong> , the first letter of the Tetragrammaton]. In this number \u201c10\u201d are the Principles:
\n      CREATION
\n      CONSERVATION
\n      RENOVATION <\/p>\n

Here is the Verb in its triple aspect.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Yod \u05d9<\/span> <\/strong> can be used to represent the Logos, Heh-Vau-Heh or Heve \u05d4\u05d5\u05d4<\/span> <\/strong> represents the Divine Mother, and thus the Tetragrammaton is the unfolding of the Logos into its creative aspect<\/u>.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026the Father, Son and the HOLY SPIRIT are an INDIVISIBLE UNITY, UNI-EXISTING for itself…\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cthe LOGOIC Triangle consists of three aspects of the hebrew Kabalah:
\n1. KETHER, who is the Ancient of Days, the goodness of goodnesses, the mercy of mercies, the occult of the occult. It is the MATHEMATICAL POINT in the immense, infinite, unchangeable space.
\n2. It is obvious that he unfolds, in his turn, into CHOKMAH, the SON, the COSMIC CHRIST (who is said to be related to the whole Zodiac),
\n3. the further unfolding of Chokmah results in the HOLY SPIRIT, BINAH.<\/a><\/p>\n

Some Kabalists emphasize the idea that Binah, “the Holy Spirit, is female”; which is incorrect. It is quite clearly stated (in The Divine Comedy<\/em>), that “the Holy Spirit is the husband of the Divine Mother”; and it is the Holy Spirit, the Third Logos, Binah, that unfolds himself in his turn into his Wife, into the SHAKTI of the Hindus.<\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit is male, but HE unfolds into HER forming the first DIVINE COUPLE, the ineffable:
\n\u2022 The ELOHIM CREATOR,
\n\u2022 the KABIR or THE INCA or High Priest,
\n\u2022 the RUACH-ELOHIM that according to Moses “fashioned the waters at the beginning of the world…”<\/p>\n

He and She are united in the CUBIC STONE OF YESOD (that Stone is Sex). DAATH, Perfect Tantric Knowledge, comes about from the union of Him and Her, through which we can integrally SELF-REALIZE OURSELVES in all the Levels of Being.<\/p>\n

\u2026the Holy Spirit is masculine; but the unfolding of Binah forms the perfect couple \u2026they join together sexually\u2026\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Key to understanding Gnosis and the Science of transforming oneself is DAATH.<\/p>\n

\u201cScience is the first of all the gifts of the Holy-Spirit and it corresponds to faith in the enumeration of the seven christian virtues. You know that science is not a [regular] Sephiroth, but that it is the mirror where the rays of everything concentrate: we call it Daath.<\/p>\n

In the catholic dogma, the economy of numbers necessitates the alliance of science and of faith which will constitute the absolute reason for the human verb upon an unshakable foundation, equivalent to the Verb of God.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Verb of God is the Logos and we need to learn to manifest this Logos in ourselves by working with the 3 Primary Forces. Anytime there is Creation, anytime something is created, these 3 Forces work together (in unison) to do so. Therefore, we have a saying in Gnosis: \u201cthe Law of Three Creates\u201d.<\/p>\n

This is the Trinity, the Triple-Unity, that is both 3 and 1, because the three aspects always work together. This is the Logos, the Verb or \u201cWord of God\u201d (and God keeps his Word).<\/p>\n

If you remember in the Gnostic Psychology series (Class 7<\/a>), we talked about how Negative Emotions make us into Slanderers and Liars and that \u201cthe lie produces a mistaken connection with our own Divinity\u201d. Lets understand this in more detail:<\/p>\n

\u201cthe energy of the Ancient of Days (the Being of the Being), flows harmoniously through the 10 Sephiroth of the Hebrew Kabbalah, to finally reach the kingdom of Malkuth (the psycho-physical person)\u2019. And when this energy \u2018becomes misconnected it produces an intentional dislocation or disconnection of the mind, and as a consequence of it, the lie appears\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Lie, which we tell intentionally or unintentionally, creates a disconnection of our Essence or Consciousness with our Divinity. This lie can often be not wanting to face the truth for whatever reason, which is why we recommended in the Gnostic Psychology class to take these things to meditation so that we can discover the Cause of this \u2018avoidance of the Truth\u2019.<\/p>\n

Remember that Negative Emotions are often the result of our unwillingness to cooperate with the inevitable, and in life, we have to LEARN TO COOPERATE WITH THE INEVITABLE. <\/p>\n

So one of the first things we can do to start applying the Gnostic Kabalah within ourselves is to look at our words, our speech, and whether or not it is consistent with the facts. The 3 Primary Forces are always necessary in order to create anything.

\nThese 3 Forces have different names, but always symbolize the same principles:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022\tAffirming, Denying, Reconciling
\n\u2022\tFormation, Reformation, Transformation<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

At the Dawn of the Cosmic Day, when the Cosmo-Creators fertilized the Primordial Matter (or Chaos) they did so with their word or Verb.<\/p>\n

They Polarized themselves (through their willpower) into the 3 Aspects, corresponding to the 3 Primary Forces: <\/p>\n

1.\tthe Priest (Active)
\n2.\tthe Priestess (Passive)
\n3.\tand a Neutral group of Elohim<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Then they sang the Rituals, Liturgy or \u2018Hymns\u2019 of Fire and the Universe was born!<\/p>\n

The Logos, the Sephirothic Crown, the 3 Primary Forces always unite in order to create.<\/p>\n

But before creation manifests, \u201cIn the ABSOLUTE, the three forces are the SINGLE LOGOS, the ARMY OF THE VOICE within the GREAT UNITY of life free in its movement.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now that creation is manifesting, we can understand these 3 Primary Forces as the Priest [1], Priestess [2] and the Congregation or maybe the Choir (the Neutral group of Elohim) [3] of what Samael Aun Weor calls \u201cPrimeval Masonry\u201d.<\/p>\n

We can also understand these 3 Primary Forces as the Father [1], the Divine Mother [2] and the Cubic Stone of Yesod [3]<\/p>\n

The Father is the Active Word or Verb (the Logos). The Divine Mother is the Receptive Matter or Primordial Substance, who\u2019s womb is the unmanifest Cosmos (which is prepared to take the form given by the Verb). The Cubic Stone is their Conjunction, their Union, which occurs through Daath.<\/p>\n

Samael Aun Weor describes Daath as \u201cPerfect Trantric Knowledge\u201d and Eliphas Levi describes it as: \u201cScience \u2026 the first of the gifts of the Holy Spirit\u2026 the mirror where the rays of everything concentrate\u2026\u201d.<\/p>\n

What we are describing is the process by which God created the Universe, which we must emulate or replicate within ourselves.<\/p>\n
